Twitter: "The best way to discover what's new in your world."
Twitter was founded in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey, and although it was fairly unpopular because of the public’s inability to see the advantages of using it, it has become a monster that cannot be stopped.
For all who don’t know, Twitter is a status based social networking tool used to provide instant feedback to other users. Uses range from personal use to business use, and it is slowly changing the way American Business conducts its practices.
It is changing the customer-brand relationship, because of the immediacy Twitter provides. Businesses can now receive instant feedback pertaining to a certain issue, which can be used to adapt their business to increase their efficiency.
Aside from the business aspect of the evolution that Twitter is forcing upon us, it is also playing a HUGE part in our evolution as humans. It is adding a whole new dimension to immediacy, and it is affecting the hard-wiring in our brains. We are now starting to expect immediate information, and if we have to wait for it, we become highly impatient.
Are we gradually morphing into machines that need instantaneous information to cram into our brains?
What do you guys think?

I agree with you about the way that humans are evolving. It is funny to discuss twitter with people in different generations than us that just don't understand.
